Hmm, ive never seen that before. Do like he said. Have fun lining that sucker back up. I did mine byself and it was a complete bitch. And evidently theres a tool to line it up, which i now have lol.

Tool to line what up? Mine was the opposite. 03 and down has the 2 connectors whereas 04 up has the 1. And my trans was an 05. Just pulled the 80e one off and put the 60e one on there.

line the NSS back up, instead of gettin out from under the truck to see what the shifter reads.

I have noticed that sometimes my display has a delay in displaying the correct gear. i.e. it may transiently show R when it's in D. It doesn't bother me at all though.

Probably not lined back up just quite perfect, See that bolt, just loosten it, and crank the nss one way or the other. But if it works most of the time, dont **** wit it lol.

phew, thanks guys just set the motor in now. Hopefully getting the tranbs bolted up if not tomorrow. Still have to weld up that crossmember so i may wait till its done

hey, back to that shift module. I'm trying to take it off now, but there seems to be like a plastic snag ring that's holding it on the shifter linkage shaft. Is there and how do i get it off? I don't want to break it
