Default 285-60-17's?????

Will they fit on a OEM Denali wheel? The Denali wheels are the 17x7.5". I have been looking at a few different brands that offer this size, to use on the rear of my truck, but the Toyo's suggest an 8"-10" wide wheel and the Hankooks suggest that a 7.5"-9.5" wheel would work.

I'd love to get some wider aftermarket wheels, but just can't see spending that kinda $$$$$$ and get something that weighs a ton.

I've got 275/60-16 Toyo Proxes on my stock 16x7 wheels and I have no problems. If I remember correctly, Toyo recommended at least an 8" wide wheel. Hope this helps....

Don't think you'll have a problem, sidewalls may just bulge a little. I'm running 275/60/17 Toyos on my 17x8s and they fit great.

Yeah, I'm running 275-55-17's on the Denali wheels right now, but they are just too short for my tastes. I will be needing to buy new tires soon and want to go with a staggered muscle car look, should be getting my Eibach 1" front coil springs in next week, only running a 2" shackle drop in the rear. I want to try and fill up as much of the rear wheel well as possible without going to an offroad or all season tire and think that the toyos or something similar would look badass in a 285-60- just didn't know if it would work on the rim. I have no problems with the 275 on the denali rims right now, so I don't see why it would be a problem.

Oh man I have a 2/7 drop on my truck now and would love to go 1 more inch in the front and that will take care of the extra space needed to make it look awesome.

they will fit the wheel but the side wall will ballon out a little bit. Personal preference on the look but, bulging sidewalls will help protect the rim from curb rash.
