definately not a BAD idea, but not the best choice. since the longtubes it only stalls to around 2200 rpm but was worth 2/10's off of my 60' times. if i had the 3000 stall last night i woulda knocked off a 13 easily

the trailblazer was cheap and available while my transmission was being replaced. did i mention the free install too? ill get it restalled next time i blow the transmission
