Default 2500HD axle into 1500?

Heyo fellers, new here....

So Im redoing my 2000 Silverado 1500 after a nasty oil pressure loss...swapping the 70mm turbo for a 88mm and a built motor. Anyhoo, I pulled the axle from a 2007 2500HD 4x4 to put under my truck. All the mounting points look the same, which is great--but can anyone tell me what is the minimum size rim to fit on those big brakes? And anyone know of a company that makes the same rim for both 6 bolt and 8 bolt patterns?

I'd run wheel adapters if you're gonna mix-n-match bolt styles, so your front tires can be rotated to the rear.

Ignore the stupid "robot check" message above, it's an Amazon link.
