What is different? A body lift, or is there a lot of things different.
Me and a guy were parked next to each other today. I have an 03 Z71 with heavy duty rear springs, and the front cranked on stock keys.
He has an 05 2500HD 4x4, and his sits roughly 2-3" higher all around. Ive got a lift on the way, but it would be nice to be that high without a small lift kit.

ummmm..... no. 1500HD, 2500, 2500HD and 3500 GMT800s have a taller frame than the 1500s. There are slight variation, but share similarities and all front suspension components are interchangeable, the rear setups have some differences. The 2500HD and 3500s have the body mounts welded 2" higher on the frame because these trucks have the max/alli combo as an option and the extra clearance is needed. Not really a body lift as we all know it.
To answer the question, no 2500HD suspension components will not fit on a standard 1500, only a 1500HD, which allready has the bigger pieces anyway.

FWIW, 2500HD rear springs will bolt right onto a 1500 and give 1.5-2" of lift. I also believe the torsion bars interchange...I've seen guys on other sites use 1 ton bars (GLs or GKs, I can't rememeber) on their 1/2 tons to offset heavy bumpers, etc. that cause the factory 1/2 ton t-bars to sag prematurely.
