Does anyone have any info on what u-joints the rear drive shaft uses on a 2016 Crew Cab Silverado 1500 5.3 4wd LTZ Z71???? I have the length of the drive shaft but no measurements on the u-joints...

Dumb question, but can you not measure it yourself and post that info for the community?

Unfortunately I am offshore and do not have access to the truck. Trying to order a shaft with u-joints now so it will be assembled and ready to install when I get home.

Dumber question, but can you not reuse the stock u-joints? none of the sites list a part that I could find.

Stock u-joints can be reused but drive shaft builder needs to know what series the stock u-joints are in order to build the driveshaft. I can't find any info on what series these trucks come with stock either. You'd think with all the driveshaft issues with these trucks someone would have some info.

Factory u-joints 1415 series u-joints
Measurements may vary depending on ride height. My measurements at factory ride height are:
71.25 rear of tailshaft to center of rear u-joint.
69" is total of shaft only.
Hope this can help anyone else looking for this info.
