I was told by a salvage yard that a 14+ 6l80 would not go into my 2010 4x4 Silverado. Can any of y'all elaborate on this? My 6l80 is on its way out and am trying to get a used one purchased and found one out of a 2014 truck but wasn't sure if it would fit. I see no reason why it wouldn't unless there's a different plug or something on the 14 and ups.
