As for the vette output shaft, i think its at my friends house! Havent had time to go look for it, left the dealership and went back to my old job fulltime, been trying to make up some of what i am behind for the year so far....along with dealing with some other things, havent made it over to his house in a while i will hopefully get over there friday at some point and let you know....

 

I read somewhere, that the output shaft on a 4x4 6L80 was different due to the kind of transfer-case used.

 

It is different on the 6l90s that were behind a duramax, but all of the light duty 1/2 ton transfer cases behind a 6l80 have a 32 spline input. Cant remember off my head at the moment what the 6l90 output shaft spline is but there are 2 or 3 different ones.

 

The 07+ 2500/3500 6.0 trucks came with the 6l90 and its a 36 spline slip yoke. The only 6l90 behind a duramax was the in the 11+ gm vans
