Hey I'm new to the site and I'm starting a new build. I got a 2008 single cab chevy 4wd and i recently bought a 2004 chevy 2500 doner truck. i was wondering if i could just swap the trans and transfer case to my truck or the electronics will be different.. there both push button 4wd..

 

The 4l80 will need an adaptor harness, the transfer case in the 08 should be a borg warner, the 2500 will more than likely be an np 243 if its not auto trac if it is then it should be an np246.... Gonna need both driveshafts modified and a crossmember.... And probably the input shft for the transfer case to mate to a 6l80 i think it is that has the same spline as the 4l80
