Default 2007 suburban

I have an 07 suburban that will not engage into any gear while in OD or D, but will engage in 2 and 1. when in 1st the trans will shift manually thru all ranges, 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4; reverse works well.
any help would be appreciated thanks

Yea, well here is the thing after owning atleast 4 suburban. A 4l60e will never last with the weight factor. It's like brake pads you got to change them.
