I dose seem like it's cycling, could be the alternators bearing making noise when the system is charging. Like posted above remove the belt to eliminate the accessories from turning and reassess.

Totally forgot to post the solution. Sorry guys and gals. It all came down to visual inspection. Someone did the center u-joint prior to me owning the truck and didn't do a very good job. I installed all new Spicer SPL u-joints, a new Timken center bearing and new boot clamps. 100% fixed my noise issue.
