Default 2004 6.0 2500HD Screech While Accelerating

I was hoping someone recognized this noise and could help me out. To the best of my hearing ability it sounds like it's coming from under the hood. I took a decent video and you can hear it pretty clearly. It only makes this noise while accelerating and the noise is the same pitch/volume regardless of vehicle speed. I took off the A/C belt so I can rule out the A/C belt/tensioner. It has a fairly new Goodyear Gatorback belt so I highly doubt that's the issue. The serpentine belt tensioner is original to the truck with 92,500 miles, but it doesn't have the bad tensioner/belt noise that I've heard over the years. Basically I just don't want to start throwing parts at this thing and hope someone can give me some advice.

At the start of the video I'm on the throttle and the noise is there. I let off the throttle around 7 seconds and get back on it around 12 seconds and back off right before the video ends. If anyone can help me I'd be very appreciative.

On second thought I probably put this in the wrong place. If a moderator has a more appropriate section that would be great.

That video was taken after I removed the A/C belt.

It sounds like something is cycling. Don't go far, but try and remove main belt when its cold and see if its still there.

Other thought is exhaust leak noise. Are you accelerating when you hear it?

Did your eyes stop working fast?

Lol.

I heard of PCV's making weird noise but not sure that is this issue.

i had something like that going on drove me nuts! would make noise when accelerating and right at 75mph (where i had the most exhaust drone) pin pointing the area it was coming from was almost impossible ended up being the bearing in the steering column

did you have any thing a part before this started?

It does have a small exhaust manifold leak, but it goes away shortly after it's warmed up. The noise in the video only happens while I'm accelerating.

The steering column lower bearing is definitely worn and makes the notorious clunk when going over bumps, but this is definitely a difference noise. I haven't had anything apart as of late. The noise just kind of started out of nowhere.

Pull the main belt off and wiggle the water pump pulley up/down and side/side.

If there is ANY movement, replace it with a quality unit.

I had that happen once.

This might be your issue. It could be pushing just enough under acceleration to squeak by so to speak.
I have a similar noise and a similar issue. Usually when making a right turn. On mine, If you give it more throttle it goes away.
