I don't know what kind of fluid those use.. anyone know? adding a little more might help it out for a bit.
The G80 calls for synthetic 75w-90

Yeah, sounds like it just locked for whatever reason and clunked around the turn.

I've never really heard of the 14 bolt G80 breaking, usually just the 10 bolt version. Do the 14 bolt models break too?

I've only seen one post on this site where a 14 bolt G80 went out, can't remember who it was though

Also what size ring gear is in the 1500hd 14 bolt??
