Default 2002 silverado 2wd drop

Can i use 4" shackles only in the back ? is it really necessary to use the hangers as well ? i know the pinion angle will change but i dont think that much , can anybody confirm ?

I don't think there is such a thing as 4" drop shackles, those would put the leaf spring eye into the bed of the truck. 2" shackles are sometimes enough to cause a bad pinion angle and vibration. After my 2" shackles I needed 2* shims to help reduce some vibration.

Ferocity02 is right, they dont make a 4'' shackle. I've looked. You can either do hangers and shackles to get 4'' of rear drop, or flip the rear and try to bring it back up 2''.

You would be just about in your bed floor with those. Curious to see if they make them or not though.
