2001 chevy 1500hd ????

1500hd It has a 6.0 but what auto trans and rears? Whats difference between 1500hd and 2500hd?

It will have a 4l80e and a 9.5" 14 bolt semi floater usually. They are basically no different than a 2500hd.

Size wise. Its a compromise between 1500 and 2500 frames. Like others said its a 9.5" semi floater rear, and the front end is normal 1500 versus higher (more massive appeal) of the 2500.
