Default 2/4 drop pinion angle

I'm going to put the drop on the truck in a few weeks and want to have everything I might need to get it done over a weekend. My question is should I get shims or center bearing relocation bracket or both to solve any Drive shaft vibration problems I might have?

The truck is a 05 silverado and I'm going with spindles and hangers/shackles.

Which kit are you using? If it' a Mcaughys kit you shouldn' need to shim a thing.

I believe the rear is a McGaughys kit, it has the two holes on the hanger, haven't seen any other hanger like that. I've been piecing it together over the last few months and the guy didn't know which kit it was, he bought it years ago and never used it. The spindles are belltech.

The rear hanger allows for a 3in or 4in drop, just like the shackles in most kits. They have two holes depending of what drop you want to do.

I needed a 4-6 degree shim when I used DJM parts on my old long bed truck so I can't comment on the McGaughys stuff.
