NBS ECSB 4/6 with 4 Link & Coilovers?
So..my 06 Sierra needs some love. I bought a bunch of stuff last year, but haven't had time to install it. I bought the following:
2/4:
McGauphy's Spindles
McGauphy's Shackles
Caltracs traction system with their Hangars
Hellwig Front & Rear Sway Bars
Belltec Street Performance Drop Shocks
New Bump Stops
Driveshaft Carrier Relocation Bracket
Rear Airbag Kit with Onboard Compressor to maintain payload ability
Detroit TruTrac with 4:10 gears
I don't want to do this a bunch of times, and I am now getting the itch for a 4/6 instead. But I am also looking at the idea of a 4 link and coilovers
I have 2 kids, so the Extended Cab is staying, but I want to have a very good handling extended cab.
This is what I am wondering:
1. Can I use Caltracs with a C-Notch and 6 inch drop in the rear?
2. Is there a Bolt-On 4 link out there that I can use for this? Not opposed to a fabricated kit, but I don't trust any of the shops around me to do it right.
3. I assume I can still use the rear bags so I can maintain a payload, or does a 4-6 kill the pickup truck function?
4. I have read baout guys using coilovers and having to swap out springs to get it dialed in. For a DD wit aggressive driving, but no competitive driving, what do I need to take into consideration in the beginning to get it right? Driver weight, DD weight, etc? I'm 260 currently, hoping to get down to 225 at some point, do I need a stiffer spring up front on my side?
5. What coilovers should I be looking at?
I really appreciate any guidance. If there are threads you can point me to with info, I would appreciate it. I'm really new to the suspension setup stuff
