Default Is this a 2/4 drop?

New to the lowering game. Supposedly 2 inch drop spindles and 4 inch rear, 2 inch hangars and 2 inch shackles. Thanks -Kyle.

Looking at the rear drop parts would tell you for sure.

If the shackles have 2 different spots for bolt holes and it's on the top hole, that's 2in of drop. If the factory hangers are gone and it has bolted on units with 2 holes, then it's either 1-2in more of a drop.

It looks similar to my 2/4 drop on my sierra but I had 275/55/20's on mine that filled the wheel wells more.

Thank you. I appreciate it. It for sure has 2 inch shackles then. The hangars are bolted in with only one bolt hole. I'm sitting about 4 inches from the frame to axle tubes.

My money is on 2/4. You might be able to steal a PN of the spindle if it's aftermarket to confirm. The spring would be more difficult to ID I'm afraid. Nice looking truck for sure.

Yeah I tried to get a part number on the spindles. Read old forums and seems like they are old belltech spindles. The way the ball joints are. Number on them is gm-99 drop. I figured a 4 inch drop would be a little lower for 29 inch tall tires. But thanks man I appreciate it! Getting harder to find these trucks! For sure.

Isn't that the truth! The OBS trucks are tough as well commanding what a nice NBS sells for just about. Even more so, a nice square body C10 is "worth" now what NNBS trucks are. SEMA was full of them last year and the performance aftermarket is helping drive them up. I digress.. hope you get the info you're looking for.

This is a great site for a ton of info. And everyone is also so helpful. Hopefully one day I can have the knowledge to help others. Thanks all to your help. And I agree about how hard it is to find a good truck these days. I lucked out with this one and no rust with all the mods. These days in the upper Midwest it's hard to find a truck even. One with rust and a banged up body will still go for 5k.
Thanks.
