Default 1997-1998 4L60E differences

I have found 1998 GM reman transmission and I need one for my 1997 Silverado. The 1998 reman is 2 piece design just like my 1997. I know the converter lock-up material is different.

If I buy/install the correct converter for a 1997 will the 1998 trans work properly?

Are there any differences as far as wiring or internally that would need attention?
