Default 170,000 on stock u joints

I have the shaft all the way out while I am doing the gears and diff, figured I may as well replace the original u joints. They have 170,000 hard miles on them, and believe it or not, they still move freely and are just as smooth as new ones. Replacing them anyway as well as the center support bearing. Anyone have any tips on doing the center bearing.

cut off wheel, dont nick the shaft, and use a propane torch on the new carrier for a few seconds to get it to slide right now, or find someone that can press it on.
