I was wondering when you were going to poke you head in here. 
Weldcraft was one of the top places that came up when I was doing some reasearch a while back. One problem I think I am going to have with widened stockers is the backspacing. I will probablly have to use spacers and longer studs to make it work. Like you said I may be better off buying a set of D6's.
Have you tried any hard N2O lauches on the street with the M&H's?

i got 255 50 16 m/t dr's on mine street and track and they cut a consistant 60 ft time anywhere from a 1.78 to 1.84 on my truck with 15 psi in them with a little heating they have about 1800 miles on them

I honestly never tried launching on the bottle from a dig on the street. I very rarely drive it on the street with the DR's. I'm sure they would do pretty well on the street. They are a fairly soft tire, so I'm not sure how well they'll wear with a lot of street miles, but it can't hurt anything.
