are the bushings the same size for both?

depends on the year and two or four wheel drive...guy at o'reilly's told me that as of the new style of trucks (last 3 years) the shocks are different on half ton 4X4.

I'm running 1500 shocks on the rear of my 1500HD. They bolted right up, so I would say yes. The only issue I have is that the dampening is too soft for the unsprung weight of my Quadrasteer axle. Looking at getting Dually drop shocks to see if they work better.

thanks for the heads up. I'm getting ready to install a 1500 leaf pack in place of my 2500HD leaf pack for a better ride and weight x-fer
