Default 14 bolt brakes

so ill be doing my rear end soon. i wanna ditch the drums due to the weight of them. but i love bing able to run 15' can i use a old school disc set up for here rear ends? and keep 15's

will my brakes work right with the proportioning valve and such?

I dont think so. I have heard of guys grinding calipers and such to get some clearence but have not seen any documentation.

You will need to run a manuel proportioning valve or the disc will lock up under heavy brakeing.
