Default 05 ECSB Z71 - Beilsteins or KYB Mono Max?

I have 44k on the OE Tennaco's.

I have been searching info on shocks and cannot comprehend ride comparisons between the Beilstein HD's or KYB Mono Max units and my current Tenneco's.

Any comments appreciated.

I would be nice to hear from folks who went from the Tenneco's to one of the above brands.

KYB Monomax here. I love 'em! I'm sure you'd be happy with either brand.

Thanks,

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Beilsteins due to the buy 3 get one free and the free shipping for orders over $200.00 at eshocks.com. $208.00 to the door.

I want to note I talked to a friend who used to own a tire store. He called about the hunting near me and I mentioned my current shock interest.
He knows I have the L33 5.3 engine and mentioned how it is 100 pounds lighter than the LM7 and to not be surprised if the front got a tad harsher. I then mentioned the added weight of the inter-cooled Radix kit. Whew!
He brought it up because of a very finicky customer who could not be made happy with new shocks because of the added harshness in the front. He finally narrowed it down and got to drive an 04 LM7 down the same road and noted a very small difference. Therefore the name finicky.
He bets the GM p/n's are the same but doesn't care enough to see.

You won't be disappointed in your decision to get the Bilsteins, they were a %100 improvement over my stock red Tennaco's. Very responsive ride, not harsh at all but not mushy.

Yep HD's. They've been on my truck for about 5ish years now. They felt really good when the truck was at stock height, and they're still doing OK now that the truck is lowered and they're compressed more than they should be.
