I wanted to know yalls opinion I have 185k miles on a 08 5.3 Silverado I was wondering if I cam it would it last or do I have too many miles

Barely broke in to me.

People slap cams and turbo's on 200k short blocks from the junkyard all the time.


Of course you'll have to check over things as you take them apart. Inspect the cam bearings as much as you can and other odds and ends. If all is well, a new cam with lifters and a DoD/AFM delete kit is the main stuff you'll need.
