Default 2WD Launch

So how do you guys with 2WD launch without too much spin??? I have tried 4wd starts and that is fine but i think i'm losing some power when 4wd is engaged?
The one launch i tried in 2wd was f%#'d up and i had to back off. So, how do you guys, making 300+ do it?
Any advice?

I do all mine in 4wd....I figure that the drivetrain is going to eat power whether it's going to 2 wheels or 4 wheels, I don't think it makes much different but I have no evidence to support that assumption either.

I launch @ about half throttle then hit the nitrous at full weight transfer = no spin. Also I fliped the over load springs so that they contract quicker and add more spring rate to help traction.

Its not going to hurt you that much, at least not as much as you having to feather the throttle to try launching in 2wd will. You should still be low enough in HP to be able to switch out of 4HI to 2HI. Have you practiced it at all like we talked about?

as soon as you get out of first go from the awd to 2hi. it is a quick transition and it doesnt eat up that much power. you will loose more time with the wheel spin.
