PE mode just has a 60 second timer on these and once disabled they will enter PE mode just like any other. I am no expert but have tuned half a dozen of these HD trucks and that's all it took... The stock LQ4 tune from a Denali engine wise is basically identical just with no PE delay. Do a CASE relearn.. It's amazing what that fixed on mine.. Seriously. I had misfires that were not enough to show a cel but enough to keep my converter unlocked and it was down on power. Case relearn fixed all of that. I have a 3000 circle d I have been intending for my 05... Curious how yours turns out.

Thanks for that! I will probably do the relearn process tomorrow. But (this is just the worrier in me talking) that won't do any crazy OEM flash will it? I've heard horror stories of some PCM's that reload a flash from one stored on board in memory.

No lol. I used HP to do mine and my tune that let's me over rev the hell out of this old pig is still intact lol. I honestly had issues with the converter locking for over 2 years now... And all it took was a damn case relearn lol. Its like a 30 second process to do with HP lol.
