Default 2006 Silverado 2500HD LQ4 - Gear Head Input

I have a 2006 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 ECSB. 220k miles. Still runs like a champ.

I attached a link to a couple of videos. I can tell is has gotten a tad slower over time, but hey, it happens.

Here is a link of the truck with a stock tune for comparison.
260 RWHP, 318 FT-LB.

This is with all of the bolt ons, so I am thinking that this is still good ball park on account 269 RWHP / 306 FT-LB from the factory, and this thing is 10 years old.

This is my current time and numbers.
302 RWHP / 338 FT-LB

I've also attached a video of my concern, it seems so damn sluggish out of the hole. In the next few months I'll be installing a Circle D 3600 stall until I can throw in my cam soon after.

Any of you with a similar truck have good results or input on.my current setup? My tuner is 100% I will be happy with that 3600 scooting around until I can the damn thing. By the way, it will be the TSP 228R.

Here it is about 78°, but when it's about 66° I like to take it out and light it up. In the summer, it sucks.

I'm rambling, here's the video. Apparently the HD trucks flash at like 2500, unlike the 1500s at 1600/1800.

Has it actually gotten slower or is that your just getting used to it and want more power?

I think it's a little of both. It seems more sluggish out of the hole more than anything. My 40 and 60 rolls still do just fine. But the power bound doesn't "wind up" until about 3300.

Have you done any tune up maintenance on this 10 year old truck with 220K?

SeaFoam, NGK TR6 Plugs, new oil pump, new water pump, removed clutch fan for Electric Fans. Oil changes every 5k. Royal Purple 5w-30 with Wix filter.

Anything else that maybe I forgot about? Forgive me, sleeping meds kicking in!

Why are you running a copper plug? How often do you change them?

What about the plug wires?

Do you run fuel injection cleaner through the tank at regular intervals?

And are you going through the intake with the sea foam or in the tank?

Plugs and wires were changed at the same item. TR6 plugs, but I don't remember the exact plug wires used. The real thick ones from AZ.
Sea foam through the tank at regular intervals. I tried using the sea foam through the intake, but it's hard without 2 people.

Do you recommend adding something other than Sea Foam for the injectors? Or along with it?

The price has gone through the roof on that stuff as much as $11 at some places.

Wal-Mart usually has the best price. usually in the 6 dollar range.

I have been using the Berrymans B12 chemtool product myself, it's only about $4 I believe Part #0116

I am open for anything that will decrease the sluggish low end power.

Give 'em to me!
