Default Surge Tanks?

Anyone use a surge tank?

I have a 1.5-2 gallon surge tank that bolts to the top of the intake manifold. Uses stock fuel lines and pump to fill tank with fuel then has two walbro 255 in-line pumps to feed each rail.

Anyone use a set up like this?

I dont know much about this type of set up and it seems sketchy to me. I would like to just run the walbros in line hooked up to the tank but I have never built that kind of set up ether and dont know if the two pumps would cut it.

any suggestions or experience would be awesome.

Its a 03 1500 5.3l twin turbo set up planning on about 10psi boost.

Post up some pictures of your setup so we can get a better idea of exactly what you have.

For a 5.3 on 10lbs just throw a automotive 340 or Bosch 040 in the stock tank and call it done.

yeah that's it. here is what it looks like.
The tank sits on top of the intake manifold and uses the stock fuel pump to fill the tank. It also uses the stock return and pressure regulator for when it gets too full. (its going on a 03 and has the stock return.)

I'm the guy who won that auction. You know, the "non-paying bidder"...

I was wondering if i'd see someone post up with that kit on here. Good luck with it.

I was kinda wondering how you knew what I was talking about.

Sorry about that. The kid said something about the eBay thing falling through. Never gave it much thought tho.
