Question sucking bucket dry (fuel)

So a few years ago when i turboed the suburban we ran into a issue of sucking the bucket dry with the upgraded pump. Back then the fix was to drill or cut the bucket so fuel will always flow threw it.. That worked like a champ unless you under half tank.. Under half a tank it was hit or miss, Its like all the fuel gets sloshed to the back of the tank under acceleration so the bucket get sucked dry.

Fast forward a few years and im thinking about putting the turbo kit on my new motor, if i do this i want to fix the fuel issue..

So question is, on a 2500 suburban, 40 gallon tanks, 30 under it like all trucks, Tahoe, suburbans, and then 10 gallon above the spare tire..

How do you get the regular tank to keep the bucket full with upgraded pump or pumps..

Use a bigger bucket, which means swapping to a returnless tank (dont know if you can do that with yours), keep the tank above half full or go to a surge tank.
