Default Returnless rails work for return coversion?

Can I use the stock returnless rails when I convert over to returnstyle? Or I MUST go aftermarket?

You can, but you will have to put the regulator on the feed side which is not ideal.

Is there a specific regulator that I need to use the factory rails?

no, any regulator will work. you just need a special fitting for the rail to convert to an lines.
Russell Push-On EFI Fittings 644120 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

ive had good luck with aeromotive regulators, but my decision to buy that brand was pretty arbitrary.

if you use stock fuel lines you can get these adapters for those
Russell Fuel Rail Fitting Adapters 640930 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
and
Russell Fuel Rail Fitting Adapters 640940 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

basically you get a return regulator with at least two inlets and one return port. run the stock feed into one of the regulator inlets, then the other inlet port you route to the fuel rail inlet. the return port on the regulator then goes to the stock return line to the tank.

Awesome that helps so much. Any insight on removing the fpr and such in the bucket? Should I just pull the complete regulator and filter assembly out of the module, or just leave it in the there and just bypass everything by running a new fuel line right off the pump to a new -6 bulkhead through the top of the pump housing?

Started my dead head return install, I know everyone was staying I need to have the regulator as close as possible to the rails. Right now the closest I can get it is near the booster, with about 7/8" of addition fuel line off the regulator before it hits the rails. This acceptable?
