Default Returnless Fuel Pump Options

So I've searched and read and read... I'm really not wanting to convert to a return style system.

05 Sierra Lq4, cam, heads yada yada. Puts down 400 NA. Gonna put some nitrous through it and I'm sure the stock pump isn't gonna pull the load.

Soooo, what are my options for fuel pumps?

He has a returnless fuel system.

I'd like to see someone try and take a CTS-V 65psi relief valve and see if it fitsput in a truck pump. Then I'd imagine you could raise pressure in the tune.

I ran a 340 Aeromotive return less!
Only problem was that pump over heats with a dd vehicle
It is a race pump and gets hot.
I would go with a walbro 255 or 400 and stay return less

I'm guessing older returnless systems aren't like the 2007+?

I've heard a lot of conflicting info too. I've heard that anything over a 255 will overpower the stock fuel pressure regulator on a returnless fuel system. I have also heard of people running an aeromotive 340 successfully. I hadnt heard of the aeromotive overheating issues on a DD. That's good to know. I had been considering a larger pump because of the success stories I heard with it... but this makes me think twice.

I know a few people who run dual 255's with a hobbs switch to turn it on when they hit a certain boost level.

Bottom line is if you are OK with the stock pump now, the 255 will be a big improvement. Sounds like that is probably the best option.
