Default Return-Style Fuel Conversion

So I will probably have to change from a returnless system to a return style once I get my new setup (shooting for 800rwhp if that tells you anything).

What I have in mind is dual in tank pumps with -8 off each to a single -10 Y in the bucket, then a -10 bulkhead fitting on top of the factory bucket, and a -6 for the return. -10 line from the tank to a fuel filter, then -10 line from the filter to the FPR (aeromotive 13101), and a Y from the -10 out of the FPR to dual -8 to the back of each rail (professional products 10614).

My issue right now is if I can use the factory bucket for the bulkhead fittings. Obviously I would get rid of the evap and factory fuel connector, but would I be able to use bulkhead fittings and have it seal completely with the factory bucket? If not, are there any aftermarket buckets available?

i have my wiring coming through a small grommet where the evap sensor was on the gas tank.

IMO instead of running 2 pumps. i would just get the single 044 pump . thats what i have now

i also have the PP fuel rails and aeromotive bypass reg -6 feed -6 return

I already have the pumps; a walbro 255 and a denso 1020, which supposedly flows more than the 044.

The part I am really concerned about is the bucket and if bulkhead fittings would work for the feed and return.

Yea, that would be good. I have no problems with leaving the side hose to the canister, I just feel like I need the space where the evap connector is to use big bulkhead fittings like I want to.

I did some searching online and that Denso pump looks pretty potent. I know two 044's size pumps are too fat but it looks like it should squeeze in with a 255.

I have a 2005 bucket and there is plenty of room to add a #6 fitting. A #10 is another story. Keep us updated.

No need for -10 line IMO, people have made 1000rwhp on stock lines and dual pumps

as long as you keep constant fuel pressure i dont see why bigger would be better.
