Need help with fueling issue

The fuel goes through the regulator on its way back to the tank. The more fuel that the engine uses, the less that goes back to the tank. Let me give an example. If you made enough power to overwhelm the stock regulator, and had a big enough pump and injectors to support the power, but both are almost max'ed out, this is what would happen: At high loads and full throttle, the fuel pressure regulator would have no problem controlling the pressure, because most of the fuel is going into the engine, not being bypassed back to the tank. When you let out of the throttle, the engine uses less fuel, the pump still puts out the same volume, but the fpr is too small and can't bypass enough fuel. Therefore pressure would go up during part throttle, not down like it is supposed to, and be too high .
