Default Low fuel pressure with Walbro 450

I just installed a new Walbro 450 with the hotwire kit since my stock pump died and went to put a pressure gauge on it to see just how high the pressure is and try to adjust it down some until I get an aftermarket regulator and for some reason it's actually low. the gauge read 48 with and without the vacuum line on. I turned the screw on the FPR all the way in and out to no effect. Then revved it up in park and the pressure went down to 40ish. I'm not sure what it could be besides the filter possibly? Has anybody else had this problem?

Thanks guys.

Possibly filter, bad electrical connector, or leaking hose inside the tank.

I had my aeromotive regulator get stuck open internally so pressure was really low cause it was just bypassing all the fuel. i pinched the return line to force higher pressure and it came free and started working right again.
I still took it apart and cleaned it all after though.

Sweet. I'll try pinching the hose and see if that works. I bet it may be the hose in the tank though because it doesn't hold pressure when I prime it

if the regulator is stuck open it wont hold pressure. give it a shot..might be a free fix

Thanks guys, it ended up being the line inside the tank.
