Lightbulb Late 60's / early 70's Mustang fuel tank mounted between frame rails

Have read several articles and watched a few vids and an episode of Car Fix where people mount a new replacement Mustang fuel tank inbetween the frame rails of a 67-72 Chevy truck.
Has anyone done anything similar with a 99-02 or newer Silverado?
Have already read all of the fuel cell and custom tank install threads posted over the years here on pt.net.

I'm sure it can be done but might be easier to just buy a fuel cell and mount it there since most have provisions for in tank fuel pump

The custom tanks are so expensive.
I think a tank like this and an aftermarket add-on sump would be cheaper.
Already have dual pumps ran from rear of stock tank now...just no baffles to keep fuel to the rear.
Would like to use the new Holley mats but they are STOOPID priced.

The Mustang tanks are available set-up for EFI...
so are some for 67-72 trucks that may work as well.
Benn looking at tanks today @ yogisinc.com, fueltankparts.com, tanksinc.com and fueltankparts.com (Boyd Welding)

Any other thoughts?
