Ok so the injectors should be pretty straight forward. Im guessing just release the pressure at the schrader valve and get lots of towels ready for when I pull the rails off?

As far as driving goes... I hope it will be ok to drive almost an hour to get to where Justin is going to be tuning the next time he's in my town. I don't have a way of getting there otherwise. Or maybe Ill just wait until after he retunes my truck (trans stuff) to do the injectors.

hm...

It doesn't really drain that much when you release the fuel lines. Most of the fuel is contained in the rails and will leak out when you remove the injectors.

I remove the fuel pump relay in the fuse box, start the truck and it will run for a few seconds then die once the fuel pressure bleeds out. Not as messy that way. And I used assembly lube to get the injectors in. Do not twist the injectors. That can damage the oring. Move from side to side until they are fully seated.

I forgot about pulling the pump relay. That should work a lot better. I usually do that when changing the fuel filter but its been awhile since I did my own.
