Gas line plumbing ???
#1
I'm swaping a 2006 5.3 dbw engine into my 79 jeep cherokee and need help plumbing the fuel system.
The 5.3 is a regular gas engine and the tank and fuel pump are from a 2000 blazer 2 door.
The engine does not have or use a return line on the fuel rail.
The intank fuel pump has 3 outlets...1 is obviously a supply line ...1 a return line (which I don't need ...and 1 ???
Also, the is a smallhole in the top of the pump where a vaper sensor would be inserted (my pump did not come with one).
Will I need a vapor sensor for the PCM to read so the engine will run???
Help.....

Get a tuner to delete the evap sensor, and plug up the third hole which for the purge line from the evap solenoid in the intake manifold. Someone chime in which has more experience with this. But I'm 99% sure.

Also their are actually 3 plumbing tubes coming out of the pump in addition to that little hole in the top of the pump. I can guess what two of them are for :fuel supply, fuel return, (which I will block) and a third I haven't figured out.
Sorry for all the questions...but this has been the best place to get help I have found...GREAT FORUM..
