Default fuel system for a turbo details

hi all

I am getting parts together for my lq4 turbo build i'm focused on the fuel system at this point I picked up Deka 60# and a Aeromotive 13109 FPR already from what i've been reading a Walbro 400 should be a good pump to drop in the tank

what i'm kinda clueless on is whats needed to install the FPR I have a return style on the truck already but dont know what parts are needed to install it?

I'm worried to about the must always have a 1/4 tank of gas in the truck too ive spent some time reading about it but they was all older post any one come up with a way around this?

info tips help here would really be appreciated, the more i read the more confused i'm getting

This whole thread is a good read, but this post has part numbers as well to give you an idea of what is needed:

Mine is sumped. I had John at DB Rods build it for me. Right now I dont need alot of fuel so I'm just running a walbro 255, I like having the stock sending unit so fuel level sender is all plug and play. I built a filler neck on the inside of my box, drop the tailgate and fill it that way. I'll get a picture this weekend if you'd like. I notched the top of the frame rail, ran my tube over the frame under the bed and turned it up and ran it between the inside of the box and outter sheet metal then built a neck and used a filler and cap from a boat.

NvrDun, do you have any problem filling up? like have to run the pump slow or have fuel back wash in the bed?

Yes, there's no vent on it so as soon as the fuel "fills" the flatter portion of the neck your fucked. I can fill it quick but can't drop the nozzle in and hammer down. Its not that it won't handle the fuel coming in, its like 1 3/4 filler neck, its air can't get out and I can hear it gurgling. I have been meaning to drop a chuck of like 1/2 fuel safe hose down my filler neck just for a vent but haven't gotten around to it. I only drive it in the summer (live in Canada) but its not a huge hassle. The hole reason I did it this way, was so I didn't have a hole in my bed floor, this is much more discrete I think. Original I wanted to hinge the tail light but it was a bigger job then I first thought and didn't leave time before show season to accommodate getting it to work.
