Ok, so I have a 07 plus intake on my 2000 5.3. I'm using 36lbs injectors, a set of FAST rails. The rails were designed to be used with a vic jr intake, so I have to make up my own mounts. I have come up with what I think is a good mounting system. Just looking for some insight on if you guys/gals see anything I have over looked. Obliviously I have to pull the rails to get to the intake bolts doing this style of mount but really how often am I going to pull the intake, rarely. Just have a look and lemme know. Most concerned about the injectors not sitting flush to the injector seats on the intake. Thanks

I don't see a problem. Instead of just using that one long piece, why not cut it into two short pieces?

 

As long as the oring is fully in there and the rail can't move it will be fine.
