ive got a 02 Sierra rcsb. I'm putting a 6.0 with a cam just wondering if I can run my stock fuel pump. Cam is 227/23x 614 57x something close to that haven't looked at the cam for awhile. Just needing some input. I've got some other tricks too. Thx

 

If you have supporting mods for that cam, then you will need injectors and that pump will be at its limit.

You could probably push ot for awhile longer with a gm hotwire kit, but will loose the ability to adjust the pump via tune. And life span will be reduced.

Might as well be proactive and drop in a 340 and some lsa injectors.

 

LSA injectors would be pretty overkill at 56lb/hr and he'd need adapter to make them work.

Some stock 31lb/hr would work with that cam if that is as far as you wanted to take it, it's 6 more lbs over the factory 25lb/hr injectors.

 

Both top hight and electrical adapters are 40$ for both on ebay.
