Default DIY Hotwire setup?

Anyone on here make their own? I have all the parts I need at my disposal, just need some guidance. Anyone?

For a 01 truck.

You could make your own, but your time is worth something as well. For what it cost ($60.00) vs materials/time cost the Racetronix Hotwire I bought was a solid buy.

Other than that its not a difficult thing to build, just need the right connectors, right terminals, right grade wire, wiring loom, and relay. Use the original fuel pump wire to control the relay and provide a 10 gauge circuit to the alternator charge terminal and an equal ground to the frame.

^ pretty much it. I have 2 pumps on mine, so 2 relays, 2 runs of 10ga wire from the relays to the pumps, and use the factory wire to activate one relay and either a hobbs switch or controller to turn on the second. The ground wires for the pumps are 10ga and go to the frame just outside the tank. The power wire for the relay is also 10ga and is straight from the battery.
