Default Did I need a aftermarket fpr 99 turbo silverado?

I installed a walbro 450.
stock injectors decapped.
stock fuel rails with stock fpr.

is the factory fpr going to be over powered? If so should I put the new fpr on the return line or feed?

thanks in advance

Stock FPR will be overpowered. Aftermarket FPR goes on return line.

You will want it on the return side, and yes that pump will overpower the stock regulator.

If you want to keep your factory rail I make this part to bypass the factory regulator so you don't have to get new rails, Fuel Pressure Regulator Bypass - Atomic F&P

OK. So I just need the stock regulator blockoff. Aftermarket fpr. Stock lines should be fine right? Will -6 line work for feed and return? Then obviously will need all necessary AN hardware.

Do I have everything right?

Yea stock lines and rail will be good to 800ish on pump gas with a good pump. Yea just the fittings necessary to connect and the fpr and you are good to go.

If you are getting an aftermarket FP regulator I would recommend ditching the stock fuel rails for aftermarket ones. When I had examined my stock ones I came to the conclusion that all the fuel had to flow through a tiny aperture before it was fed to the rails. Even with the plug in place, the restriction is still there. You want full unrestricted flow to both rails before any return to the regulator.

Hell you can get some pretty decent rails of eBay for like $150 bucks that will work for your truck intake and you can hook it up to your stock lines if you don't want to run a new one

I have everything I need. Just want to verify I'm installing correctly.

I don't touch the feed at all. Just go in one of the two ins on the reg. And out the return or out the other side?
