Default Converting NNBS to return style

Im done with trying to figure out if this FPCM crap will work with my walbro 450. If i can't get it to work I am going return style. What all would I need to do this?

I know I will need a return style fuel rail. Where can I get one of these that will work on the NNBS intake? I will also need a fuel pressure regulator obviously.Does this regulator require any wiring or is this a mechanical thing? I have read that people where using the stock feed line as the return line and just installing a bulk-head fitting on the sending unit and running a braided feed line to the engine. Has anyone got a return style fuel sending unit out of the old trucks to fit into the NNBS?
Also, how would I disable the FPCM and How would I wire in the fuel pump? Just trying to get some info on this if I need to go this route.

Can’t help with the tuning part of it but I know it’s possible to adapt the return style fuel rails to the newer intakes. Lots of guys have done the same thing only in reverse when swapping the NNBS/TBSS intakes on to their NBS trucks and a few guys retained their original return style fuel rail like Brent did here: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...9-02-a-459296/. I don’t think there would be much to it besides the additional fuel line and adjusting the tune (most likely just remove it like if you were putting the engine in an older vehicle). The fuel pressure regulator on the return style fuel rails work off of vacuum and it should be easy enough to splice in to one of your existing vacuum lines with a barbed tee to hook it up.

i swapped in an nnbs after i gave up on my fast. used my fast rails, ls2 injectors, and aeromotive regulator and it all fit perfectly to keep the return style system. had to make some hold downs for the rail but it works nice.

Guys, I ended up getting my walbro 450 to work in my returnless system, so I will be sticking with that.
