Default Carbureted 408 stroker

Hi
im going to be putting a 408 stroker in my 2002 silverado. The engine is built for boost and i plan on adding a supercharger down the road but i want to get my truck driving again. Im only trying to build things once and not waste money.

Ive read that its cheaper to go carburetor setup is cheaper than going with fi and would sve me from buying things twice. The carb setup will be temporary until i get the supercharger and other parts needed. So has anyone every done this to a silverado? What parts, intake manifold and carburetor did you use? Or recommend? Any help would be awesome.

thx

Don’t do it. If you’re trying to not buy things twice, putting a carb on your truck that is already equipped with fuel injection, will be doing exactly that

What he said. Build for what you want down the road.
