2003 Silverado fuel system help
This isn't a performance question, just general repair. Hopefully nobody minds helping me out here.
Truck is a 2003 Silverado 2500HD 4x4 with 6.0 and 4L80e. The fuel lines are rusted through; the supply finally gave up and leaks all over. I am replacing all 3 li es that run from the pump to the engine. Supply and return are pretty obvious; the 3rd line goes to what I think must be the purge valve. It's circled in the first photo.
Next question is, how the F does one disconnect the fittings on the supply and return at the fuel rail? I have the clip off one of them (very easily removed) but don't see how to disconnect the fittings. Circled in the below photo:
And finally, are these lines, which have steel sections and a flexible section and are obviously factory made, Chevrolet only parts? Or is NAPA likely to have them?

I answered most of my own questions using youtube. Didn't think about that when I posted this.
Regarding parts availability: Advance could order the fuel line set (Dorman brand) in stainless for - get this - $370! I found the OEM line set online for $206; a little more searching turned up the stainless Dorman set, which disconnects at the flex section in the middle, unlike the OEM set, on Amazon for $300-ish to my door and includes the filter. So that's where I sourced the parts.
We'll see how much of a hassle this turns out to be. Looks like front driveshaft removal will help; I have the evap canister out already as well as the tank.

During my research into replacing fuel lines for a v6 to v8 swap... I've read you have to jack up (tilt) the cab on the drivers side to get the new line set in. I shied away from that and adapted braided lines to fit. Some of the kits come in sections like you described above. Looks like a pain in the *** to repair, down here in the south were lucky not to have the fuel line issues y'all do up north. On the quick connects the Lisle angled set worked good for me especially changing the heater hose quick connects that tend to crack. The angled handle give a better grip when working in tight places.
For some reason this link goes to e-bay instead of Amazon.
On Amazon just search " Lisle 39400 Disconnect tool set" $13.15
