Try re-reading what I wrote.

Stock48 described starvation issues at 3/4 tank.

I never had any issues whatsoever (where did you get that from?), but I always ran my truck with a full tank of gas at the track to ensure i had no issue.

Since you don't drag your truck, I'm not sure why you're even commenting to be honest.

Yeah I know , but I'm thinking I may want to go more than that at some point so I know I'll have to decide which way to go . The dual walbros seem to be a tried n true set up but I'm just trying to think it over a little . The belt pumps just sounded interesting . The tank level thing and the possibility of going lean if one fails just seem like downfalls.

No need to overthink it. The dual fuel pumps are tried and true. I really wouldn't think of the belt driven pump unless you were trying to push more than 1000 on E85. Another thing to consider is that the belt pumps make for hard starts and the typical LS setups mean losing your A/C compressor.

The only mechanical pump I've seen on this site was used by GeorgeC (I think).

I still used the stock FF pump with a BAP with my Whipple. Never had an issue and I was well north of 500hp (crank).
