Default aeromotive 340 or not?

the more i search and read the more i get confused

First: lately i see people having problems with the aeromotive 340 and calling it junk, is it really that bad?

as i understand my truck is return less if its 2005 right? if so i would like too leave it that way, just install a good pump and injectors

Heres what i got:
60 lbs car style injectors (bought these pig tails for them to fit: Racetronix - ICA8 - Injector Connector Assembly Minitimer

i was thinking on buying aeromotive center inlet and the wire kit:
Racetronix - 11140 - Fuel Pump, In-tank 340LPH Center Inlet
Racetronix - Pump Wiring Kit MP150/280, Walbro CK* - Kit Configuration Page

BUT then i read it wont work on a return less fuel system, it will give me problem at idling etc...

can anyone please help me out from experience with return less?

goals are 6.0 with 10 lbs

The only thing I know for sure is that being an 05, you certainly are returnless.

I have not used an Aero 340, nor looked into them very much, so no comment there.

As far as being returnless, I believe the system still returns fuel to the pump, it is just done in a different way. Instead of a fuel pressure regulator on the rail, it is done back in the tank with the pump. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm running an aero 340 center inlet. My truck is still return less, and I'm pushing 14psi and 75# injectors. Seems good for now. But I'm going to return style and a aero fuel regulator and a second aero 340.
I have no idling issue with this pump.
Only problem I have is when it's 103+ degrees out, my truck vapor locks. But I think it's just from the turbo heating everything up under the hood. When it's cool out my truck runs flawlessly!

When I had my aero 340 returnless fp would drop crazy under wot. Solved that problem with another aero 340 and making it return style. Haven't had any problems with pumps...yet.

No experience but I'm in the same boat and been researching, from what I've come up with it will work fine, the people with problems at idle were rich and seemed to think the pump flowed more than the stock regulator can bypass BUT others have run them no problem. The one thing I cant find a def answer to is about a check valve, does the 340 have one? is there an extended crank because of bleed off?

I have been running one since they first came out and haven't had a problem at all. IMO the inlet location doesn't matter on our trucks. They DO have a check valve just like any other nice replacement pump and has no extended cranking problems.

Aero 340 here with no issues

You may want to look into switching to return style with an AFPR at that much boost. Doesnt make any difference as far as the pump is concerned

Be aware the 340 has a higher amp draw than stock or the common Walbro 255, so upgrading the wiring size is required
