i got a 02 Sierra current setup is 5.3 ls6 cam and LT header and tune. I'm doing a 6.0 with bolt on later. I'm having problems with my stock pump. Can I run a 255 walbro pump with my 5.3 set up. Thx

Yes you can run the racetronix pump. We have a kit with the hotwire harness as well which youll def need.

Price is around the $149 range for the kit ready to go.

255 walbro pump and hotwire kit for $149? I have a 255 now without the hotwire but I think its maybe starting to fail. Its beginning to take several turns of the key for the pump to start working? Kind of weird, anyway I'm sitting around 600 rwhp while on the bottle with a dry shot. Can you pm me a price for a premium pump with hotwire for daily driver? I put thousands of miles on this truck so need a pump that will last.

I would check the fuel pressure regulator first. The cranking problem could be caused by a weak pump, but it sounds more like the regulator. Pull the vacuum hose off and see if any fuel comes out.

The 255 I have now is only a year old. Figured it would last longer. it's probably got 25k miles on it. I drive the truck all across the US. Anyway, I'll check the regulator. So if it's got fuel in it it's bad?
