2012 2500hd 6.0 turbo e85 fuel questions
#1
Looking to keep the fuel system as reliable as possible going to be boosting this truck and it will be my daily driver so I want to to keep it safe and reliable. I probably won’t turn it up any further than 600whp. My question is how far will factory flex fuel pump get me. I know I’m going to need bigger injectors. Would an in-line pump be better for avoiding fuel starvation with a walbro because of the modifications you have to do to the fuel bucket. Or would a 525 get me there safely. Also will the stock wiring of the truck hold up to the current that pump demands. Thanks for any feedback

Deka's rarely if ever have the correct data for these computers.
I'd suggest Deatchwerks or fuel injector connection injectors. They come with all the proper data. The E78 controller in your truck can be a bear to tune if the tuner doesn't do torque based controllers that often and have proper injector data is 100% required to make sure fueling is spot on.

For E85 your gonna need a bigger pump or duals. 550 liters per hour should be sufficient, if you want a single pump go with the hellcat version. If your looking for a drop in replacement go with the phantom series from aeromotive. I went with injector dynamics 1050cc and they drive and idle great. Spend money on injectors don't try and save there.
